At Test For Rank, student data protection and mock test integrity are top engineering priorities:

• Transport Layer Security: All web requests, mock test submissions, and mobile API syncs are encrypted using TLS 1.3 with modern cipher suites.
• Data at Rest: Database backups and sensitive student information are stored using AES-256 standard encryption.
• Role-Based Access: Only authenticated personnel with least-privilege clearance have operational access to cloud databases.

2. Live National Tests & Fair Play

To maintain credible national percentiles and All-India Rank calculations:

• Server-Side Time Verification: Test duration countdowns are synchronized with server clocks to prevent local client time manipulation.
• Anti-Tamper Answers: Question options and responses are cryptographically hashed upon submission.
• Bot & Script Detection: Automated rate-limiting algorithms detect and block robotic attempts or simulated automated answering.
